Earlier this year, we showed a home for sale here in Country Place. The buyers liked the home, but they were turned off by the condition of the roads here. As realtors, Andrea and I are always sensitive to buyers’ negative impressions, so we are glad to report that the re-paving of Country Place county roads is on the books and may get underway late in 2025 (best case scenario). This is a big project, currently budgeted at over a million dollars. Oakbrook got their new pavement earlier this year and it has really made a difference in the appeal of the neighborhood.
