Late this evening (1-28-09) Thedford Construction Company requested that the Board apologize to the Oakmeadow Circle residents for their being in the neighborhood so late. They experienced much difficulty today on the bore down Oakmeadow Circle on the upper end due to massive rock structure issues. During the boring a large rock was pushed up and into a water line rupturing it. At 7:40 p.m. they were waiting on Southern Utilities to repair the leak. Following the repair they will be out of the area until tomorrow.
On behalf of the Board, I can assure you that both Cherokee County and their contractor are making every effort to accomplish this effort with the least amount of inconvenience to our residents. Again, I ask for your patience.
