Ann Horton and several other residents who knew and appreciated Jim and Beth Bone will be planting several Crepe Myrtles on the west end of the park below Lake #1 along Three Lakes Dr (outside of the right-of-way). This seems like a lovely way to commemorate past residents who added to the quality of life here and will extend their influence for years to come by adding to the beauty of our neighborhood.
Middleton’s Host Easter Egg Hunt
In the spring, Country Place sponsors an Easter egg hunt for members’ children. This year, the Middleton’s hosted the event at their home, complete with food, a zipline, and a brief discussion of the meaning of the holiday. Our thanks to Susan and Elliott for their hospitality.
2007 Fall Festival & Hayride
One of the really fun parts of living in Country Place are our annual get-togethers in the spring and fall. The 2007 Fall Festival & Hayride was especially nice because of the great weather we enjoyed. Elizabeth Anderson did a wonderful job organizing the cookout and Tom Perry did his usually masterful job of organizing the hayride. You can see photos by clicking here.
